miscelaneous graphics

This section features samples of my work that don't exactly fit in other categories but demonstrate skills with features of Illustrator and Photoshop.

Rejected Wine Glass

This wine glass was made for the wine blog whose logo can be found in the logos section. It's more dynamic and detailed than the other one and at this size looks more interesting, but those extra details didn't work very well when shrunk down to the size the would need to be, so the still glass was chosen. Created with Illustrator CS3.

Tall Bearded Iris

This iris was formed with pentool paths and detailed with the mesh tool to add depth, shadow and detail. Created with Illustrator CS3.

Old School

Here I used a chalk brush to create a trendy grunge look, with a stencil drawing of a 25 year old gaming relic. Created with Illustrator CS3.

Chalk

I do a lot of photoshop projects using elements from photos. For this piece, I used only brush settings and filters to make something resembling an abstract impressionist chalk drawing. Created with Photoshop CS2.

Lactobacillus Sanfranciscensis

Using the same method as the picture above, I made a brush drawing based on the bacteria Lactobacillus Sanfranciscensis. Created with Photoshop CS2.

Good Idea

I will let you ask me to explain what I did on this one in person. Created with Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3.
