stencils and vinyl graphics

This section features samples of my work in stencils and vinyl graphics. Since these are vector graphics, they can be enlarged almost indefinately without loss in quality, from a small stencil on a t-shirt, to a giant storefront window.

1984

This was made into several stencils for t-shirts and other spray painting, traced from a photograph. Created with Illustrator CS3.

Coming Up On Iran

The gas nozzle was originally created as part of a t-shirt design, but I added the Iraq/Iran mileage meter for a limited run as a window cling. Created with Illustrator CS3.

Hugh Laurie

Here I traced photograph of Hugh Laurie and added his catch phrase from the show House, M.D. This graphic was made into t-shirts and stickers as you see it here and with the phrase "It's not lupus." Created with Illustrator CS3.

The Ska Man

This graphic was a done as a spray paint stencil for a client's trombone case. It was based on a rough sketch of what he wanted. I liked the result so much, used a projector to blow it up and painted it on the wall of my office. Created with Illustrator CS.

Mudflap Girl

This graphic is currenly sold at several stores in Berkeley, San Francisco and Santa Rosa as a small window sticker done in silver vinyl. The paths were done freehand while I was looking at a T-shirt. Created with Illustrator CS2.
